The holiday season is upon us and as the year comes to a close we want to take a moment to Thank You for your tremendous contribution in making the 5th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Pancreatic Cancer Research a big success!
Nearly three hundred walkers and one hundred runners participated in the Walk/Run on Saturday, September 24th and an additional seventy-five “virtual walkers and runners” joined with them to participate in our raffle immediately held after the Walk/Run. The children (with adults) enjoyed having their faces painted, taking a picture with Boston Bruins mascot “Blades” and being entertained by Mike the balloon twister. It was truly a great day for all.
Because of your dedication and generosity, we have raised and donated over $70,000 to the Massachusetts General Hospital this year. This remarkable accomplishment could not have been achieved without each and every one of you. Whether you were a sponsor, made a contribution, donated a raffle/silent auction item, walked, ran, or volunteered it is because of your committment that we have been able to donate $442,800 for Pancreatic Cancer Research over the past six years.
