In January 2023, I will be taking on my biggest challenge to date. I’ll be running my first marathon and participating in the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Dopey Challenge.
What is the Dopey Challenge? Between January 4-8, 2023, I will be running the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon. That’s 48.6 miles through the most magical place on Earth, Walt Disney World.
This is going to be a test of every ounce of my mental and physical strength, so I’ll be channeling the strongest person I know, my Aunty Kathy. I’m dedicating my marathon to her and fundraising for the Granara-Skerry Trust in her memory.
I have set a goal to raise $10,000 for GST. You can make any sized donation here. I can’t thank you all enough, I am extremely grateful for your support in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
My Goal is to Raise $10,000

Best of luck KG on taking down Dopey! I might not be there in person, but I will be cheering you on for sure back here in Boston! So proud to call you my podcasting pal, and for the awesome work you are doing to raise money for this extremely worthy cause.

After the first Granara-Skerry run in Medford, your Aunt Kathy called me (and I have to assume everyone that participated) to thank me for being involved in the cause. I’ve never forgotten how much it meant that she took the time and effort to let me know that it mattered. She did make a difference!
